The 2023 Neil Pryde Combat HD Windsurfing Sail has a higher aspect design featuring a slightly longer mast, wider head and narrower boom greatly increases high end control in this year’s edition of our best-selling wave sail.
HD construction is our most economical construction but don’t let the price tag fool you. An Ultra-PE X-Ply sail body with an X-Ply centre window form an extremely durable sail which is still light in the hands. The addition of Powerfuse in the tack and clew of our 2024 HD construction marks a significant upgrade to previous HD models and offers pro-level strength to weight ratio at a more affordable price than Pro-Fuse.

Drive & Acceleration
A new, higher aspect design for 2024 with a slightly longer luff, narrower boom and bigger head gives the Combat excellent drive and acceleration whether on the wave or getting going in marginal conditions.
Wide Wind Range
Thanks to the re-designed outline, updated luff curve and new, larger panel layout, the 2024 Combat is the most versatile version of this sail yet. Rig it full when the wind is light or you want to use a small sail for extra maneuverability, or pull on a little extra outhaul when rigging for over-powered conditions.
Stability
Our latest luff curve and sail shaping have stiffened up the sail very slightly compared to 2023 and the result is a stain which will remain stable even in high winds.
Light Weight
Our new panel layout has drastically reduced the amount of stitches needed in the sail. This combined with carefully planned material selections has allowed us to cut around 25% off the weight of the sails compared to last year
